Zagora is located at the extent of the Daraa valley, on the edge of the Daraa in the region of Daraa Tafilalet in the south of Morocco and in the south-east of the Kingdom, on the central path of Daraa, with a total area of 2180307 hectares, Zagroa is located 170 km south of the city of Ouarzazate it is the main city before the great Moroccan desert.
Day 01: Aït-ben-Haddou - The Drâa Valley - Zagora
The first day, you will leave Marrakech at 8 a.m. to set sail for Zagora. On the way, you will pass by the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, a road which passes through the Middle Atlas at 2260 meters in height and you recognize Berber villages.
After making a stop at the Kasbah of Ait-ben-Haddou, you continue your road to Zagora. You will cross the Middle Atlas and you will be the Berber village of Agdez, the Draâ Valley and its palm grove, the time for a last dive in the vegetation before returning to the desert.
Once in Zagora, you will ride a camel and enjoy the sunset in the desert. After a traditional dinner, you will spend the night in bivouacs.
Day 02: Zagora - The Drâa Valley - Ouarzazate - Marrakech
During this day, you will have to get up early to enjoy an unforgettable moment: the sunrise in the desert. After the sun has risen and you have had breakfast, you will return to Zagora by camel to continue the camel excursion. You will again cross the Draa Valley and Agdez to arrive at Ouarzazate, where you will visit the Kasbah Taourirt. In the afternoon, you will return to Marrakech. Lunch at Ouarzazate or on the way. Arrival in Marrakech in the early evening.
